Maybe you’re on the fence on whether or not to show up tomorrow for
the our release of the Nike Lebron X – Cork. But when you’re poppin’ bottles full of bubb, it’s only proper that you’re rockin’ some corks. I mean that’s the reason behind these shoes. A celebratory nod to Lebron James’ recent championship.
The Corks mark a NSW influence to the performance basketball shoe. Traditionally, Nike uses performance based materials for its sneakers, but the limited run of the new Lebron shoe was done with the help of NSW designers.
(Something for the sneakerheads: Nike Sportswear released a special Lebron James Diamond Collection months ago and a recent image of LBJ has surfaced that seems to be from that original shoot. Not really sure what this means, but I found it a bit interesting.)
The Lebron X – Cork features a genuine cork upper (duh?), A King James “Griffin” logo is stamped on the inner heel and Nike swoosh logo marks toe.
